Calculate the actual alkaloid content in your extract powder based on weight and potency percentage.
This calculator gives you the theoretical alkaloid content based on the stated potency. If you're using the percentage from a product label (not a verified COA), the actual content could be significantly different. Always verify with a third-party COA when possible.
The calculation is straightforward: multiply your powder weight by the potency percentage to get the actual alkaloid content in milligrams.
Formula: Powder weight (mg) x Potency (%) / 100 = Active alkaloid (mg)
For example, if you have 500mg of extract powder labeled at 14% 7-OH, the calculation is: 500 x 0.14 = 70mg of 7-hydroxymitragynine.
This number is what actually matters for dosing purposes. Two products can both weigh 500mg but deliver vastly different amounts of active alkaloid depending on their potency.
